SAMPE and ACMA each is offering its own conference program at the CAMX 2014 trade show, Oct. 14-16 in Orlando, Fla., USA. Abstracts are due April 4, 2014.
The Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE) and the American Composites Manufacturing Assn. (ACMA) have issued a call for papers for the inaugural Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX), scheduled for Oct. 14-16, 2014 in Orlando, Fla., USA.
SAMPE and ACMA are collaborating on the show, which is designed to offer composites technology and product information covering the entire composites manufacturing industry, from aerospace to wind to marine to automotive to industrial.
Each association is maintaining its traditional approach to conference development, with the addition of a joint track developed by a team of ACMA and SAMPE members. ACMA offers two types of programming at CAMX, technical papers and educational sessions. SAMPE’s program consists of sessions based on full length technical papers. Joint programming will include technical papers, panel discussions, lectures and education sessions ranging from 25 to 90 minutes long. Content in the joint program depends on what programs the joint committee chooses to offer.
Regardless of the program, an abstract of up to 250 words is due by April 4, 2014. For more information about the programs, topics and other deadlines, click CAMX Author and Presenter Information.
