ramazanThe SAMPE Wichita Chapter presents “Recent Progress in Composite and Corrosion Technologies for the Aircraft Industry” by Ramazan Asmatulu, Ph.D., associate professor of mechanical engineering at Wichita State University.

When: Tuesday, Sept. 23 from noon-1:00 p.m.
Where: Don Beggs Hall Lobby, Wichita State University, 1845 Fairmount St., Wichita, KS 67260
Brief Insight: In order to minimize environmental factors and stresses on the composites, new investigations have been focused on many nanotechnology associated studies. The objective of this work is to improve the durability aspects of the fiber reinforced composites using CNTs and CNT yarns, self-healing process, nanocomposite coatings, graphene based reinforcement of composites, and so on.
