Greetings,

Gwen Gross of Boeing Research and Technology and I are organizing the “Durability and Aging” Category in the “Design Analysis and Testing” Track for the Composites and Advanced Materials Expo (CAMX 2015, in Dallas, TX, 26-29 October 2015).  CAMX is a new fall conference (the first was held in October 2014) which is a collaboration of the ACMA and the SAMPE.  Please consider submitting an abstract to help us create an outstanding and productive technical program.  (You might even be a winner of an outstanding paper award, presented at the Thursday SAMPE luncheon!)

Additional information about the conference is available at http://www.thecamx.org/.

Abstract submission is available at https://thecamx.fluidreview.com/.

The deadline for submitting abstracts is April 1, 2015. Some of the abstract requirements include:

  • Titles are limited to 12 words or less
  • Descriptions should be a maximum of 250 words
  • No graphs, tables, or charts are permitted
  • Export-Controlled/ITAR/”Closed” information (U.S. citizen and legal resident restricted technology) are allowed at CAMX in separate closed sessions and proceedings that adhere to U.S. Export Control and ITAR guidelines

Once your abstract is approved (notifications will be sent on April 29), you will be asked to write a paper to be submitted for publication and will be invited to present the paper within 25 minutes of a 30 minute scheduled block (which provides time for movement between speakers) at the CAMX 2015 Conference and Exhibition in Dallas, TX. Paper Deadline:  June 5, 2015 – All papers are due by June 5 to provide reviewers adequate time to review papers and solicit revisions if necessary. SAMPE has a longstanding, policy of “No Paper – No Podium.”

In order to properly locate the abstracts submitted for the CAMX 2015 categories, 1) please select “technical paper.”  2) Please list the Track: Design Analysis and Testing, the Category: Durability and Aging, and the person who invited the abstract submittal: Venkata Bheemreddy.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We look forward to your active participation.  Please feel free to forward this note to others you know that may have interest.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Dallas!
