NCAT College of Engineering Summer Camps

For the first time, the National Center for Aviation Training is hosting Wichita State’s College of Engineering Summer Camps. Camps begin this week with CAD/3D Printer Camp for 8th and 9th graders.  Next week is LEGO Robotics Camp for 4th and 5th graders followed by LEGO Robotics for 6-8th graders. The final week is Advanced Robotics for high school students. By adding NCAT as a camp location, the College of Engineering is able to provide a camp experience for an additional 75 children. The popular camps frequently sell out and have waiting lists (even now).  The college was also able to add three more (for a total of four) high school camps, which greatly benefits recruitment.  The College of Engineering would like to extend a big THANK YOU to the NIAR team at NCAT for all they have done to make this happen! Special thanks to Chris Rempe from the CAD/CAM lab for printing hand parts for the Biomedical Engineering Camp. To learn more about the camps visit http://www.wichita.edu/thisis/home/?u=engineeringcamps.
