Thank you from STEMpact2020

Last Saturday Dec. 12, NIAR staff in the Wind Tunnel,  Composites and Crash Dynamics Lab supported tours for around 50 boy scouts in support of STEMpact2020.

STEMPact 2020 is charged with engaging STEM professionals as mentors for the younger generation.

Many thanks to Royal Lovingfoss, Jonathan Conklin and Andrew Holup for supporting the tour.

Thank you all for helping out on Saturday giving tours to 100 boy scouts and about as many parents.  When asked if their favorite part of the day was the tours, almost every single hand went up! The parents were very impressed as well.  Great job making the day fun and exposing these students and parents to the work you do.  I hope you had a good time as well. – Alex Peterson, project manager, STEMpact2020, WSU
